If I was you I would call up the internet provider and ask them about it and see if they can help you get fast net or say you'll going to change to a other ISP, they may offer you a better deal!
I said to my ISP that I was going to change to a other provider and they changed me to fibre optic broadband (UK) for free, giving me 60% faster & all for free just because I said I was going to change
